Necessary inspection of electric hoist wire rope

In the process of using the electric hoist, the role of the wire rope is mainly to lift the cargo. The wire rope is generally made of GB1102-74 (6*37+1) X-type lifting wire rope, the quality of wire rope and the maintenance are importance to the safety of the electric hoist. The safety of the wire rope can ensure the safe operation of the electric hoist and the personal safety of the operators.

Check the wire rope to check from two aspects:

First, the overall inspection.

Observe whether the wire ropes are arranged neatly. Before lifting the heavy objects, the wire ropes are kept in a vertical state, and no twisting or knotting can occur.

Second, the details check.

Observe whether there are the factors such as abrasion, rust, wire drawing, etc., which are not conducive to operational safety. Determine whether the condition of the wire rope can be safely lifted, if the wear is serious, it must be replaced with a new wire rope.
