Operating points of the gantry crane

1. Before gantry crane using, check the track for any sundries, and pay attention to the presence or absence of wires and other obstacles affecting the work;

2. Before each operation, carry out test hanging: lift the heavy object from the ground for about 200mm to test if the brake is reliable, can be lifted after confirming safety;

3. When working, the wire rope should be lifted vertically. Otherwise, the lifted objected will swing, collide with other objects, even cause the crane rollover accident;

4. The gantry crane should not be overloaded; when working under heavy load, it should be run slowly, otherwise it will easily rush out of the track or roll over,  causing a major accident;

5. Gantry cranes are mostly used outdoors, the brakes are prone to failure in rain and snow day, so the lifting operation should be slow, it is best to stop lifting; in case of more than six level winds should also stop lifting.
