Safety requirements for jib cranes

1. Relevant personnel should carefully check hooks, wire ropes, brakes and safety guards, and report abnormalities in time;

2. Before lifting the weight approach the rated value, or lifting dangerous goods (liquid metal, hazardous materials, flammable and explosive materials), carefully check the brakes, and use small height and short stroke crane to test lifting to confirm that there is no problem before lifting;

3. The distance between the electric wir and various parts of the jib crane, the lifting and auxiliary equipment should meet the safety requirements;

4. If there are two sets of lifting and lowering mechanisms, it is not allowed to use the main and auxiliary hooks at the same time (except for the special jib cranes allowed by the design).

5. When lifting the weight with two or more jib cranes, each jib crane shall not be overloaded, and the lifting process shall keep synchronized. When lifting, relevant technicians and safety technicians should be on site to guide.
