The safety technology of the wire rope slings used by different cranes is different, take the construction outdoor gantry cranes as an example, the sling safety technology must comply with the technical specifications of JGJ276-2012.
1. In order to improve the safety factor, the slings are often made of 6*37 wire ropes.
2. The length and diameter of the sling should be determined according to the volume and weight of the heavy objects lifted by the gantry crane, the crane lifting tools and the lifting method, the single, double and multiple roots can be selected according to the needs.
3. The length of the sling's braided joint can not be less than 20 times the diameter of the wire rope, 8 strand sling, AND can install the snap ring, hook and so on at both ends of rope.
4. When lifting, the safety factor of the sling should not be lower than 5; when the lifting weight is large or lifting the precision instrument, the safety factor of the sling should reach 10.
